Which Boiler?

Finding the best boiler to suit your needs means taking into account the size of your house, where the boiler will be located, how many radiators you have and your cold water pressure. We are not tied to one boiler manufacturer which means that we can supply any boiler that you feel best fits your requirements, however we do like to fit and highly recommend Worcester-Bosch and Vaillant boilers as they have the highest efficiency ratings and are well known for being in the top range of boilers.

Types of Boiler Installations

There are many different types of installations that are available, and depending on your circumstances some types may be more suitable than others:

• Combination boilers – are best suited for small houses and flats which are connected up to mains water to give instant hot water and lose the need for cold water tanks and hot water cylinders with a pressurised heating system which is kept clean and free of debris

• Conventional boilers – ideal for both small and large properties, which can use vented and unvented hot water cylinders and can be pressurised if necessary, often known as heat only boilers

• System boilers – are often referred to as sealed system boilers, providing central heating and hot water via a storage cylinder, with no need for water tanks in the loft, as with an open vent boiler.
